Factors that Internet Marketer would Consider by Coming up Google’s Next generation, “Google Caffeine”

Internet Marketers around the world who rely their marketing on Google hold their breath, because Google will release its next generation by early 2010 which named “Google caffeine”. As an internet marketer, we would make any adaptation with this Google’s new technology. Every factor that comes on this, we should consider. According to my opinion, there are additional factors and standard factors which we can optimize to get good ranking on Google Caffeine.

A. Additional Factors

Additional factors are new factors and also factors that have greater role than before, here are:

  • Social Media
    The social media such as Facebook, Twitter would seem have greater role in ranking factors. There is nothing wrong if we would be more active to use social media as our marketing strategy, beside good to extend our network marketing  and it would be good for ranking factor.
  • Social Bookmark
    We shouldn’t close our eyes with these social bookmarks ( dig, del.icio.us,Stumble Upon), they can give potential traffic.  Some opinion consider Social Bookmarks have greater role on Google caffeine, so we would consider to emphasize this. The key is quality of content, the more quality and useful content we write the more possible we get many bookmarks.
  • Site Speed
    Site-speed factor would be as new factor in Google’s ranking algorithm. So, we have to put our site on descent web server

B. Standard Factors

Standard factors are factors which are used in SEO Standard on Google’s old version.

  • Content
    Writing quality content, the more quality content we write the more people would visit our site. Google is used to search information. So , what information we will offer to visitors, informative or no. Just write with our hobby and our heart, gradually we would give quality content.
  • Title
    Title tag is located between head section, Google consider title is important, so, make title that relevant with body content. Here is example of Title tag:

  • Meta tag description
    Meta tag description is considered important on some search engine but is not on Google , but we should write this meta tag in order to be indexed by other search engines . Here is example of meta tag description:

  • Meta tag keyword
    Meta tag keyword is considered important on some search engine but is not on Google , but we should write. Here is example of meta tag keyword:

  • Keyword density
    Keyword density is percentage how many times keywords appear compared with total number of words on the page. Many experts suggest keyword density is around 2 to 6 %.
  • Alt tag
    If we have image on our page, it is good practice to include alt text on every image. alt text is only indexed when the image is part of a hyperlink. Use interesting and descriptive texts on alt text. Here is example of alt tag:

  • Tag H1.H2,H3
    Words that appear on headline and subheadline are still important. So we may input keywords on tag header H1, H2, H3.
  • Body text
    Google will scan first paragraph to know theme of web page. so, we may put keywords on this part. We may put keywords on last paragraph too because Google consider this as summary from what we write on the title, meta tag and header.
  • Page View
    Page view is request to load a page on the web site. this is term that usually is used by internet marketer to measure how many times that page are visited
  • Bounce rate
    Bounce rate is value to measure how long visitor visits and then goes from the page. Bounce rate influences the ranking of page. The lower value of bounce rate the more possible to gain higher ranking.
  • Traffic number
    The more people visit the more traffic number and the more important your site on the internet. So that it can increase ranking of site.
  • Age of site
    According to Google’s metrics, domain names that are registered for a longer period of time are considered to be more authoritative. So, if you are looking for getting Google’s appreciation, register domains for a longer period, say 5 years o, and that would give you an edge over others.
  • Good navigation
    Be careful with frame, frame can erase navigation to help visitor visits other pages. So we shouldn’t use frame to make a site. Don’t forget to use sitemap with the right links to every page. Use tool for easy Google sitemap Generator (sitemapdoc.com)
  • Link
    I don’t already know,  PageRank will be considered or no on Google Caffeine but I think link structure still is given weight.
  • Time spent on page
    If people visit the page with time spent on the page longer, then bounce rate will decrease, so the more possible that page to gain higher ranking.
